At Brindlewood Farm, we have mixed breeds of miniature pigs. Miniature pigs encompass a variety of small pig breeds which are selectively bred to be smaller in size than the average farm pig while still being considered to be a dual purpose animal. Most farm pigs weigh 600 pounds or more, but any pig weighing less than 300 pounds is considered miniature. Common mini pigs found on homestead farms in the US are Kune Kune, Vietnamese Potbelly and Juliana. Our pigs are a mix of these breeds. They are amazing family pets. They can be taught to do tricks and are very affectionate. They help the farm by being excellent recyclers and can root up pasture for planting. They are a perfect pet for any homestead.
